Arkansas hairstylist being sued over 7-year-old noncompete — looking for advice

Posting for a friend who has been a hairstylist at the same Arkansas salon for about 10 years. She signed a noncompete around 7 years ago.
She recently asked to switch to booth rental, but the salon owner refused. She feels like she has no choice but to leave and work somewhere else. She has built a loyal clientele over the years, and many of her clients want to continue seeing her wherever she goes.
Now the salon owner is suing/threatening legal action over the noncompete and has even threatened that she could have my friend’s cosmetology license taken away.
Has anyone in Arkansas dealt with something similar? How enforceable are older salon noncompetes, especially when the stylist isn’t trying to steal a client list but longtime clients simply want to follow her?
She’s obviously going to need actual legal advice, but I’d love to hear from other Arkansas stylists, salon owners, or anyone who’s dealt with a noncompete like this.

Best family-friendly communities in Lakewood Ranch/Sarasota?

Our family of 4 is relocating to the area and looking to rent in a family-friendly community. Ideally 3–4 bedrooms, 2+ baths, and around 2,000+ sq ft. $4,000 is probably the top of our budget.

Ideally we’d like to find something in a master-planned community with a pool, gym, playground, and other families/kids. Star Farms seems nice and I’m curious to know if people enjoy living there. But I’d appreciate other recommendations of other communities as well!

Good elementary schools are also important. We have read that B.D. Gullett is great but I’d like to know about other options too! I have a third grader and an almost 3 year old. Recommendations for preschools/daycares/momsdayout programs would be amazing as well!

What communities/schools would you recommend (or avoid)? Thanks in advance!

Traffic laws regarding e-scooters and dirt bikes driven by minors

Not sure if I’m just out of touch or what but are kids really allowed to be driving e-scooters and dirt bikes on main roads without a drivers license? I see it constantly and it seems like a serious accident waiting to happen.
