Replaced my water pump today
Was somewhat nervous tackling it myself as I’ve only ever done one before and that was on a 15L diesel which is a lot more straightforward and simple. Went really smoothly, took about 3 hours, but there were a few beer and smoke breaks along the way. Relatively easy simple job that looks a lot more complicated than it actually is, when I saw I had to remove the alternator and engine mount and jack up the engine I seriously considered paying a professional to do the job, but I’m glad I tried myself, saved around $3-400 in labour costs and now I know I can do it again if need be
