Don't mind the cucumbers

She served me so well and had so much life left in her. I always joked about how she wanted to be a sports car. Turns out she’s a freaking tank. She saved my life, and I will forever be appreciative of that.

Ac not working
Rotors are semi worn down
Back bumper popped out a lil
Doesn’t take cds in cd player from what I can tell atm

I love the car it drives super smooth and everything else aside from what I’ve mentioned earlier it’s all good. Not that much rust and the car seems pretty well kept aside from a couple of scratches/dings.

This is my first car which I bought brand new in 2022. In 4 years i have driven it 100k KM and tbh I have experienced the reliability. Other than timely routine maintenance, I have only changed breakpads/drivebelt/tyers once.

Car gives me from anywhere 13-20kmpl from how and where you drive it. I am really happy pray for me and my car I am gonna keep it for another couple of years at least.

I recently found this sub and I figured ya'll would appreciate my daily driver. Its a 2005 Yaris T sport with a little over 190k km on the odometer. I have been a car detailer for more then 13 years now and I have kept this beauty in pristine condition. My dad is a mechanic and we have kept up with the maintenance religiously! The interior is spotless and scratchfree and the exterior only has a few minor little scratches that I was not able to buff out.

I dont have pictures of the underside but the first owner of this diva has actually fully coated the underside with a rust protector so there is not a spot of rust on the body.

It's mostly OEM with 2 minor changes. I tinted the rear windows and painted the brake calipers red. It has a Remus TTE (Toyota Team Europe) exhaust stock from the factory and I have a OEM TTE spoiler that needs to be painted and put on still. My dad even found an OEM roofrack new in the box in the warehouse at work!!! And to top it all off..... it was assembled in Japan and not in France!!!

No abs light but a lot of codes for abs motor but the traction light won't go off the check engine light showed up for a loose fuel cap my beautiful 2010 yaris has been having trouble starting every once in awhile maybe cold weather? But I also just a new set of tires less than a week ago

My 2007 2 door manual Yaris, bought it for 5990 nzd (3.3k usd) with 55,000ks over its entire life, Ive driven it more in the 2 years Ive owned it than the previous owners ever did, up the 1.3L, 180kph on the dash is funny in a sub 100hp econo hatch.

Has around 143,500km

Decided to change my front brake pads myself. Did one side and it went great. Did the other side and stupidly over-torqued the bolt that holds the brake caliper housing in place when I was finishing up. The top part snapped off, leaving the threaded portion stuck.

My questions:

What’s the best way to fix this?

Do I need a tow to the mechanic?

Any other advice?

I'd like to share the fuel consumption statistics of my old Yaris for reference. I recorded every fill-up like a maniac so I hope it will be useful to someone.

Records are between 2018 June - 2025 August (7 years 2 months).

Total recorded mileage: 79,892 km (49,643 miles)

ODO from 184,990 km to 264,882 km (from 114,947 miles to 164,540 miles)

I can say it's half urban and half extra urban driving.

Average: 5.03 l/100km (46.8 mpg)

Sad to see it go. I put a lot of time and money into this car and I absolutely loved driving it. I loved working on it. It was the first car I modified. I was able to salvage my wheels and luckily there’s not a scratch on them. Everything else gone, had to sell the car to a junkyard. Lot of money gone but hey it happens to the best of us.

Your Yaris looks sick

2017 Yaris Ai usually gets around 42-45 mpg hwy. Fully loaded with fishing,camping gear and kayak. What do you think my mpg was for the trip? Who needs a truck anyway!

There is this 2019 toyota yaris on facebook marketplace, 80k miles for 7k but had hail damage. I want my mechanic to inspect it but this year worries me so I came here for advice.
