It's definitely a shooter from the early 2000s, maybe even the late 90s, but from what I saw, it's highly unlikely.

I only remember a short clip—a cutscene where you exit a building into an open area like a parking lot, and an alien monster jumps out of the building through the wall. It's nighttime outside, and there's a ruined city all around, and some objects might be burning. It felt like the first boss in the game, but I'm not entirely sure.
