I will be near the following areas in late August: Seattle, Port Angeles, Port Townsend. Would love to see an orca, what whale watching groups or spots do you recommend?
Has anyone flown domestic recently with a camp stove? Was planning to put it in my checked back - no fuel residue. Now reading that its on AA’s prohibited list
My partner and I are flying with American Airline. We both have 4 piece flyrod and reel. We were planning on just attaching to our backpacking pack and carrying on. Has anyone flown recently with them/had any issues? Thanks!

Day 0: arrive late to SeaTac- uber to downtown Seattle accommodation
Day 1: explore Seattle/ evening whale watching tour
Day 2: pick up rental car, groceries, etc. arrive at hipcamp- 10 min drive to nisqually entrance. Evening hike.
Day 3 and 4: Hikes in southern Mt Rainier
Day 5: unsure— i want to wake up early and try and see Sunrise area of the park. OR drive straight to port Angeles
Day 6, 7, 8: Olympic NP- unsure where our base should be- thinking near lake crescent or Port Angeles. Would love to bike on the ODT
Day 9, 10: olympic NP somewhere near forks. Any fly fishing outfitter recommendations??
Day 11: make our way back to SeaTac area.
