Looking for Work

My Service Dog will finish her program in December/January. I am looking to transition out of Childcare after she comes home for good.

Does anyone have experience in customer facing positions with a service dog?

I spent 10+yrs in childcare and my disability is progressing such that I am having trouble keeping up. The only other field I have experience in is customer service so that is pretty much my only option as far as work.

If you have worked in customer service (ie retail) what accommodations did you have for your SD? What companies did you have good or bad experience with?

Wanting to transition out of Childcare.

Hi All, looking for some advice here. I have been in ECE (early childhood education) for the better part of 10 years. I have worked primarily in Daycares and some as a Nanny or Mothers Helper. Short version is that I am feeling very burnt out on this and want to do something different.

My issue with wanting to transition to a new career is that I have very minimal experience outside of Childcare. The experience I do have is in Retail. Additionally I don't have any sort of degree as I began working in childcare as a teenager and have been hired based on experience.

Are there any jobs/career paths that I can start from here? Are my only options entry-level retail?
