Hello all! I've got a pair of polk audio db1240 svc (360w rms) in a ported box currently paired to an polk audio pa d1000.1 (800w @2 ohms, 1200w @1 ohm load)

they works and sounds well. I bought these subs some years ago because they were cheap on the marketplace (and I have a good opinion of the brand). However I do think I want to start upgrading the set up a bit and I found a pair of image dynamics idq10 v4 D4 for a price of $140.

I know they are an improvement in terms of SQ, however I would like to know if I will lose SPL due to the change to a smaller sub

It's worth mentioning that I have them installed in a 2011 Civic sedan.
