With the Cavs now getting Watson it looks like Kuminga is down to choosing either the Wolves or the Lakers. Both are in a difficult spot financially.
I'd argue the Wolves give Kuminga a better opportunity to increase his value. The Lakers ownership change leaves a lot of unknowns (unstable GM situation).
It's looking like the Wolves could actually get him on a 1 year minimum deal and have a PF without giving up any assets.
Would be a best case scenario given the limited financial position the Wolves are in.
