Charlottesville/UVA housing market
Hi all - just trying to get a better sense of the housing market around UVA (North Grounds, ideally) for the fall.
I'm assuming it's difficult to find a true fall-semester-only lease, but just wondering what people usually do in that situation. Are 6- or 12-month leases basically the norm, with people re-letting/sub-letting the remainder of the term (which obviously isn't ideal if only in Charlottesville for the fall semester)? Is it doable to find someone subletting their place/a place just for the fall semester? And if so, when do the surge of Facebook posts looking for a fall sub-let usually hit, if at all?
