TCL C1 Help! Small blotch after 1 day.

Hi! Posting this here since the r/projectors sub seems to be meant for higher end stuff.

We just bought a TCL C1 smart projector on Amazon.es (we're in Portugal) for our bedroom, since its too small to comfortably fit a full sized TV. It was on sale and had amazing reviews. It arrived on Wednesday and it was awesome at first. Google TV OS, everything licensed and working beautifully. Yesterday though, during the projectors second only use, my partner noticed a small blotch on the projection. I thought it might be dust at first, but cleaning the lens did absolutely nothing.

Should I return it to Amazon? We were really excited to finally have a "TV" in our bedroom, so we're heartbroken.
