I’m hoping to get my ITIN soon and wanted to do the global transfer with AMEX connected to my mail forwarding address (it flags as residential) but I can’t figure out if they’ll accept Wise as the checking account or if I need to head to the US to open a checking account (with BOA likely as want Flying Blue card eventually).

I’ve been looking into the satellite features currently offered by Apple and carriers. In the UK, and Ukraine, I can get satellite roadside assistance, messaging, and soon, in Ukraine, apps and 5G via the Direct to Cell service which seems great.

Now, I’ve been reading the 18 Pro should come with a new satellite chip to connect directly to satellites. Is this not what the current iPhone does for the satellite features or does it serve a different purpose that isn’t the same as Direct to Cell services?
