Mod Announcement: Red October: A New Stage of Socialism
Hello hello! Being a big fan of mods like Dynamic, Bienno Rosso and having seen how innovative Germany to Save has been, I finally decided to work on a mod of my own. This mod puts you in control of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union starting in January 1986, with your ultimate goal being to preserve the Union, either by seeing through Gorbachev's visions for reform, or setting the Union back on the course to "true Leninism", and many more paths planned besides.
I had seen an earlier, rather incomplete mod someone was making of this very same concept but as far as I'm aware that was abandoned. Besides, I had my own designs and ambitions that I'm now ready to share with you after working rather hard on it for the past week or so.
You may notice *some* minor UI changes here and there. Usually those are my own personal changes.
I'll admit this part is mostly flavor, I couldn't really think of what to put in the last slot.
This is a library entry, if it wasn't clear.
Writing the timeline took me the longest time out of anything in development, weirdly enough.
There's a little more, naturally, but I'll settle for showing this stuff off for now. I'll be sure to share more teasers in the future. Byyyyee
