Social Democracy: An Alternate Horizon Teaser #1.

Very well, after long development, I am announcing this mod for the purpose of reaction and because I decided to jump the modding hype train and keep it moving. Immediate warning: Uses LLM, thanks for reading.

Social Democracy: An Alternate Horizon is an attempt to overhaul the base game, that mainly focuses on making the game more automated, so that it never relies on scripts. It also brings in a lot of content, including parties, custom coalition forming (including non-player coalitions), presidential elections, party affairs, huge reworking, achievements, events, game modes, integrated sandbox, deterministic and a lot of miscellaneous. For the secondary purpose, this game covers dynamics within the other parties and imagines how altering them would change the course of history.

Currently, the game is not even in beta stage yet due to fundamental changes needed for some things within the game. It will require me some more (likely up to 3 months) to polish it, as the game is very rough in terms of graphics (something I never liked anyway, I love the gameplay more). Regardless, thanks for paying attention.

Developers: Me (Visionary) and co-dev Arkadyevna.

I made a political campaign browser game inspired by Red Autumn (focused on the upcoming Swedish election). Would love your feedback!

Hi everyone,

With the upcoming Swedish elections in mind, I put together a simple browser-based game where the main goal is to win an election campaign.

It's a bit different and not tied to the exact same historical figures, but while building the mechanics, I was heavily inspired by Red Autumn*,* especially when it comes to things like managing social groups and interest organizations.

Unlike Red Autumn, this game isn't focused on just one party. You can play as any of the major Swedish parties, from the Left Party (V) to the Social Democrats (S), all the way to the Sweden Democrats (SD) and the Moderates (M)

Labour 1923 - Undecided subtitle

*Ignore that some of the images are not properly fitting in the card space lol.

Hello,

This is a teaser for the mod I've been working on the past few months. Labour 1923, centred around the short lived first Labour government. Formed in 1924, they made a lot of mistakes. And it fell before the year even finished... But what if they didn't. And maybe even achieved their agenda. Though the biggest hurdle to that is it was a minority government, reluctantly supported by the Liberal Party, so you'll have to manage their dissent to some of the stuff you do and the way you react to events that happen. But with the power to call snap elections, maybe you'll survive long enough to win that majority government.

All of this happening as the looming shadow of trade union anger, particularly from coal miners grow, something that irl escalated into the 1926 General Strike. Under the conservatives it failed, and in retaliation they implemented some of the harshest anti union legislature the country had ever seen. Crippling unions until Labour rolled them back later in the 40s.

How could a Labour government navigate the growing discontent? Could they try to delay it? Maybe even give a better deal for the strikers in the end. Or maybe avert it entirely.

The planned timeframe is 1923 - 1929 before the great depression hits.

Also because its for the UK, the electoral system will be first past the post, meaning you won't need 50% for a majority. But with 3 parties claiming large junks of the votes, you may find it tough to break out of a hung parliament.

But yeah, thats about all I have to say on it for now. I might do another teaser in the future. But it'll probably be when its closer to being finished.

My idea for a possible multiparty America mod?

Center-Union. broadly center to center-right. fiscally moderate but socially slightly conservative.

Democratic: broadly center-left to left. fiscally liberal but socially moderate.

Social-Liberal: broadly left to far-left. fiscally liberal and equally socially liberal.

Forward: broadly center-right to right. fiscally moderate and but socially conservative. (Perot/Reform style).

Green: broadly center-left to green democracy. fiscally very liberal but socially moderate.

Patriot: broadly right to far-right. (imagine white nationalism with lot of deregulation platform).

Taxpayer League: (self-explanatory. basically a protest party).

this is 803 seat by the way. current year 2013. Center-Union and Democrats are at a coalition government.

Anouncing Social Liberalism: An Alternate History (a DDP mod)

Hi everyone!

I suppose some of you may have seen my post a few days ago asking if someone had made a mod for the DDP.

Some people told me that it wasn't that hard to mod one myself, so i did, so i wanted to anounce this fully and give some sneak peaks

. I'm looking for people to help code/Make paths/ write on the mod, if you do, hit me up in the dedicated thread in the modding channel of the red autumn discord server.

The mod will have multiple paths, including the historical German State Party path, and a unified liberal path

For now, i've managed to finish building some action cards and root/main, but more work is needed.

now for some sneak peaks:

(there's supposed to be an image for party affairs but its not woorking for now)

The campaiging card!
