Hey all I’m 400 hrs shy of qualifying for my journeyman’s test. I’m currently working as an assistant project manager at an HVAC company. I have my first son on the way (t minus 18 days). I want to finish up my journeyman’s but not sure if I can afford the pay cut necessary to do it. I’ve tried applying to several different electrical company’s locally but as expected they’re only interested in the Journeyman card. I understand their thinking. They’re worried once I get the card I’ll dip to go some where else. What should I do?
