Battery Backup management these days
Assalamu Alikum everyone,
This is just an information post. Since the night load shedding has started in Rwp/Islamabad from last two weeks, here is how I'm managing my battery backup.
Once the set percentage of battery has reached, the load will shift on Grid, and if Grid is not available then inverter will run only light load to avoid zero electricity case.
Before load shedding my priority was to avoid peak hours electricity usage from Grid, but now my priority is to have longer backup at night, even if Grid is unavailable for like 6-8 hours at night I can still run fans and some lights at least.
An important thing to note is, that this is not a one time setting, you need to change them based on your requirements and changes in external factors like load shedding and season change (summer, winter,etc).
Wonder how are people managing there's.
