Welcome to Zillium! We are a small, relaxed SMP originally established around 2020. We aren't a massive community with mega mod-packs—just a chill place to build and hang out.

The server had to shut down briefly in 2023 for financial reasons, but we are back! We restored our most recent backup, and the server is now 100% self-hosted. This means no more financial hurdles, no server closure worries, and Zillium is back to being a permanent passion project.

The World & The Vibe If you're looking for a chill server where you don't feel pressured to keep up, this is the place. It's basically a single-player world, but better. You never have to worry about losing your builds to a server reset, the end of a "season," or a PC upgrade. Come and go as you please!

Because this is a continuous world that has been updated through multiple Minecraft versions over the years, you will definitely find some funky, unique terrain generation at old chunk borders! There are also existing builds scattered around from older players. All we ask is that you are respectful of these existing builds (and our original Discord is still active, so you might even be able to ask the original builders about them!).

World Downloads on Request: If you ever decide to move on or just want to save your progress, just ask! I am happy to provide a world download so you can keep playing your builds in single-player.

Who We Are: Our player base—myself included—is primarily made up of adults. I work remotely, which means I have near-constant access to the server to fix things quickly if anything goes wrong.
