FTTP changed from Coming this year to "We have no plans to build Full Fibre to this property yet"
My local exchange is being upgraded. I can see the work going around on Better Internet Dashboard. This was welcome news, as we're on some god awful aluminium line that when it rains becomes unusable.
All the roads around me are now showing "Available to Order Now" - our house (which, to be fair, is over a small river, with the existing phone line in ducting under our bridge) and our adjoined neighbour seem to have been missed, and now it says "We have no plans to build Full Fibre to this property yet" when since November it was saying ready to order soon.
Interestingly the business park on the other side of the river also now shows the same "We have no plans to build Full Fibre to this property yet" message - I am guessing someone has taken a look and for some reason decided its a bit difficult.
Its confusing as our entire exchange is being upgraded bar us....
I presume there is zero method of contacting open reach and getting an idea if it will happen or not... If not Starlink awaits it seems.
