Hello brothers, cousins and heretics alike! I’m really into making homebrew chapters but my biggest issue is the color of my chapter. They have the gene seed of Sanguinius and they’re from a planet that is essentially a prehistoric earth with a lot of megafauna and other dangerous creatures.

The issue I run into is majority of the successor chapters of blood angels are red. I want to stand out while also paying homage to my parent chapter. How did you land on a color scheme?

Any advice would be great, thank you!

Say Chapter B is a successor of Chapter A. If Chapter B is nearly wiped out on crusade, could its remaining members be formally absorbed into Chapter A?

Would Chapter A allow or even want that?

Bonus: If Chapter B’s Chapter Master survives and joins Chapter A, what happens to his rank? Does he become a Captain, or something else?
