Forgot to Disclose
I’m probably going to get raked over the coals for this, but I would appreciate any suport advice.
I (28m) did something really bad and forgot to disclose I have HV2. I was diagnosed last year, but probably have had it for a while. My symptoms are very mild, my last outbreak was 3 months ago.
I usually don’t hook up, but last night I did. I don’t think I would see this person again, but I realized this morning that I don’t think I disclosed that I have HV2.
I am currently asymptomatic, I’m not on prescriptions as I have bad side effects, but do take wholistic supplements (Zinc, Vitamin C, L Lysin). Should I try to reach out and let them know?
I understand transmission is generally low, 5-10% asymptomatic, I’m worried that if I tell them, it will cause an impending doom for them the next couple of months.
Edit: I did disclose. They actually took it really well. I did explain transmission rate. They appreciated that I was honest and thanked me for being a nice guy.
