Does anyone know any labs at McMaster currently accepting volunteers/research assistants/research course students for the upcoming school year?

I just finished my third year of biochemistry but I haven't been very successful with finding research. I don't mind working in the lab but I'm also open to non-lab research like research on child health, aging, etc.

Is it possible to get into medical school without research nowadays?

I just finished my third year in biochem with a 3.91 average. I've started studying for the MCAT this summer for the first time but feeling super discouraged about my chances of getting into a Canadian medical school without any actual research experience (only lab courses). I have around 200 hrs of volunteer work in hospital admin, 100+ hrs of volunteer work in end of life care and around 600 hrs of paid work in a retirement home. I've been involved in a few clubs at uni and became president last year. In terms of ECs, I dance and play piano. I've tried to get involved in research but it doesn't seem to be working out for me. It feels like every person I see posting about their acceptance to medical school on LinkedIn has completed a thesis or some kind of lab work, which makes me feel like I have no chance, even though I know it obviously depends on my MCAT and CASPer score.
