This is about Yocket Fraud, they charged money while did not provide promised services

I'm here to write about Yocket and its unethical services.

So in the month of November, a consultant from Yocket called me for study abroad consulting. I was looking for a Master's option at that point in time, so i agreed to register with them and paid them the initial 5000 Rupees as token money, and the rest money I was supposed to give after the counseling and shortlisting of colleges. For that, the POC told me that she would arrange a call with the concerned person. I shared my resume and other relevant details on 17th November, it's the same day when I made the initial payment. On 18th Nov, they said they'll arrange a call today and i tried to contact the person but she didn't pick up, after that she never contacted me and lately i came to know that she left the Yocket and i was like wtf bhai, why didn't they assign me to somebody else and I was so pissed and despite that i tried calling them on their number mentioned on website and boom, that number is either not working or unreachable, how the fu*k can they do that to anyone.

Once they secured my 5K, they just started ignoring me. After months, Someone else called me from Yocket for marketing, i told them everything and asked for a refund as they failed to provide the services promised. At least they should've conducted the session for B-school selection.

I tried to take this matter to the consumer court, they registered my complaint, and still they mentioned that they're not responsible for anything. attaching their reply below.. (I just want to say them Fu*k off, you guys would never be able to digest that 5k, and you better buy a lock and key out of that 5k, and put that on the company, you Mfs.

We would like to submit our response in relation to the complaint raised by the consumer bearing Student ID YYYYYYY against Yocket (support@yocket.in ). 1. Background of the Case The consumer made a payment of ₹5,000 on 17th November 2025 as a booking amount for Yocket’s Premium Counseling Service. This amount is collected solely to: Reserve the service at a discounted price discussed during the initial consultation, and Secure the pricing against any future revisions in service cost. 2. Nature of the Booking Amount We would like to clarify that: The ₹5,000 paid by the consumer is not the full service fee, but only a partial booking amount. The complete counseling service is initiated only after full payment of the program fee. At the time of payment, it is clearly communicated and explicitly displayed on-screen that: “The booking amount is non-refundable.” We have attached a sample screenshot for reference, which demonstrates that this condition is transparently disclosed to all users prior to payment. 3. Service Status and Communication Post payment, the assigned Sales Advisor informed the consumer that: The service would commence only upon completion of full payment. As a goodwill gesture, the advisor offered one counseling call to address any doubts prior to full enrollment. Our internal records indicate that: There were ongoing discussions regarding scheduling this call. However, no further communication was received from the consumer after 17th November 2025. There was no refusal of service from our side at any point. Additionally: The concerned Sales Advisor is no longer employed with the company. Despite this, the consumer did not reach out to our support team for assistance or escalation. Instead, the complaint was directly filed with the Hon’ble Consumer Forum. 4. Company Position We respectfully submit that: No deficiency in service has occurred, as the service was never denied. The consumer did not complete the payment required to initiate the service. The consumer was informed of the non-refundable nature of the booking amount prior to payment. The company remains willing to provide the agreed services upon receipt of the full payment. 5. Refund Policy As per Yocket’s policy: The booking amount is strictly non-refundable, as it secures discounted pricing and blocks service capacity. This policy is clearly disclosed and consented to by the consumer at the time of transaction. 6. Conclusion In view of the above facts, we respectfully submit that: The complaint is misplaced, as there has been no deficiency or denial of service. The consumer’s request for a refund is not aligned with the agreed terms and conditions. However, in good faith and with intent to resolve the matter amicably, we remain open to: Initiating the counseling services upon full payment.
