For context; this is a close friendship I’ve had with a someone for many years after meeting them in our grad program in 2017. We got a long so well, so much so i would consider here a very close friend, and we’ve managed to keep in touch frequently afterwards, remaining great friends for years. However, since the last couple of years (around 2024) she’s been less open to hanging out, has been less responsive in texts, and will go months without replying and that’s sometimes only if I write back again. I reached out letting her know how I feel and I thought her response was genuine and change would come from it, because again, I do think we’re good friends and they’re a good person.

I genuinely feel like she cares about me but I also believe she hardly makes the effort to maintain this friendship! And at 34 years of age, I feel like I’m at a point where it’s easier to just drop this friendship and really any people in my life that are taking my time and friendship for granted.

And so now, after not having really reached out to her in a while because of the lack of communication, I see that i finally got a message from her asking about me and my life. In the years of trying to connect with them and hang out with them (mind you they only live like 25 (!) minutes away smh) AIO for just wanting to drop this friendship?

Hey everyone! Just wanted to first off say WOW thank you to everyone who took/is taking the time to respond to this post, I wasn’t expecting many comments but I’m thoroughly giving it the time to read through them. So thank you

A couple of points I should have clarified:

1. She does not have kids, we are both actually children’s mental health therapists lol we work WITH kiddos but don’t have any of our own. She is single with no kids and I am currently married working two jobs, which was part of my gripe with her lack of initiative.
2. I am a male [34] she is female [33]. No it’s not weird or sexual. We are two mature adults who are friends of the opposite sex. It’s normal, believe it or not. Plus she knows my wife and my wife knows her.
3. We had a dynamic where because we lived in different cities (still only about 25 minutes away) we would routinely meet at any restaurants where we would catch up for HOURS. That was our way of reconnecting. We didn’t text much or talk on the phone, us catching up was us agreeing to see each other, which is why I would ask to meet up often.
4. While she’s never mentioned outright depression or anxiety, I think people have (rightly so) highlighted some burdens she’s been carrying and how they might just be playing into her personal life which I may not have been as considerate about. She’s talked before about struggles in finding a partner, acclimating to her job, etc. I can see how it’s possible this seeps into her life and friendships as well.

I think I’m going to move forward with providing some grace to my friend and to what she may be dealing with in her personal life while also managing my expectations of where our friendship is at this point in time. As many have pointed out, yes, I am hurt by how the relationship has changed over time but it may still be an overreaction to completely dismiss this friendship entirely (at least at this moment in time).

Toriyama decided to have Frieza have the golden form over Cell? I’ve always found his golden form to be kind of random and poorly thought out (at least from a casual viewers perspective)

Also, Super Saiyans were the only reference point that showed a golden form being a power boost, from what I remember. I don’t see how Cell, who is an android literally made up of genetic Saiyan material, wasn’t chosen over Frieza.

I’m looking to do a sole replacement on my Tiffany Sb Dunks as they’re pretty old and worn. Do you guys know which options are closest to the sole of these dunks? For example I was thinking of getting some cheap Panda Dunks but I don’t know if they’re different than the SB model. Thank you!

I was looking for a TOP/S2 batch of the Heineken SB dunks and found a seller that said they had it. The first image is what they were advertising which I felt was the right batch and the second image is my own QC they sent me.

Am I crazy or is this not the top batch model? The green for example of the bottom sole of mine is not as dark as they are supposed to be?

What is your opinion?

Would you happen to know if there’s any dunk (regular or SB) that can be used as a close or exact replace a Heineken dunk SB sole? I’m working on a project to restore one and am wondering what suggestions people have 🙏🏽

Have the rep pair on the left (all white laces) and the retail on the right (purple laces). Loved how these turned out and I can confidently wear my reps while preserving my retail pair (weird, I know).
