Safe to shoot?

I have this Jag 2 pro crossbow, theres no more than 100 bolts shot using it in total, but I just noticed this little chip on the string guard. Is it safe to shoot? Or should I replace the string.

Can someone explain how I am 11-5 for 3s and at 1503 rating? We got the same team twice, lost first game, lost 19 rating, won the second game, won 3 rating? How is that fair blizzard?
