A lot of award flights I’d seen across multiple routes suddenly just vanished. I understand that usually award flights sell out fast, but this seems a little too much. Did they retract them as a consequence of the tensions in Middle East? Has anyone else faced this too?
I got a lot of help from this Subreddit while applying for my Visitor visa so decided to share my timelines. We applied as a family of 3 to visit Canada for a short trip while visiting my sister in the US. Since we hold B1/B2s, I guess we were processed in the CAN+ category
16th April - Submitted biometrics
22nd April - Received PPR
28th April - Received a notification from IRCC that our application is under process
11th May - Received a notification on the portal saying that a decision has been made
17th May - Received a message that our passports have been dispatched
19th May - was able to collect them from VFS Mumbai.
