I don’t work for Flash/Tanuki Studios, but here’s what I think of them..:

(Don’t click off yet, you might see a different side of the story. I suggest you read this whole thing (or atleast get GPT to summarize it for you) before you think anything)

Flash Studio has made an awesome, cool and remarkable Mao Mao fan revival and I could tell by their editing skills, aswell as two animations they’ve made about Mao Mao, however there’s two flaws:

It turned out to be NOTHING like the animation everyone of us were waiting for, and they’ve shown us so much for the revival and have returned with a simple fan slideshow. Everyone of us is absolutely furious, including..wait, actually..excluding me, here’s why:

In a subreddit, the Flash Studio have stated that they’ve had a difficult, and I mean DIFFICULT time with the animation: Their files got corrupted not just once, but about three times. Picture you working on an animation that’s about 3mins long. For those who don’t know, animating is explicitly hard, especially a simple 3mins. It could take probably even years if you’re by yourself but after you’re done with animating for that many years, your files got corrupted corrupted, and probably even deleted. However, Flash Studio and their workers decided not to give up and just for us, only for us, did they sacrifice their whole time just to come up with an animation that everyone would be happy about, yes just so we could be happy. They only cared for our joy and consacred all of their time..just so their file would be corrupted another time(they probably even did this a third time, just for us). Now, it’s not all. They didn’t give up this time and wanted to make sure we got the animation we’d wanted, so they decided to try again, just for us but their animating app didn’t work as planned and it turned out that it wouldn’t be as great as everyone wanted. They decided to try again with animating (probably) 3mins of the show(probably even way more). They did this three times, and their files got corrupted once again. To add on, their budget got so bad that they decided to shut down the whole studio, leaving only three workers including them to work stuff out alone. Finally, they had enough. They didn’t want to abandon the project and decided to turn the project into a slideshow. It wasn’t ideal, but they basically had NO other choice. It was this or you’d be saddened, still begging for this show to be revive, but their slideshow didn’t turn out to be as good as planned as people weren’t happy with it.

People even told them to quit YouTube and never come back and even worser things were said about them, but..I felt kinda bad..

Waisting all of years and time, putting your sweat into something, getting all of your project corrupted, trying again and again, wanting something to work, giving all of your last efforts just for people to be happy and after all of what you did, everyone turning your back on you and treating you of words when all you wanted to do was make them happy and remove their sadness from something they liked being removed and got something bad without you even wanting it.

I thought the community was nice, kind and supportive, as I saw everyone complimenting each other and people encouraging some artists, but this single situation made me see a different side of the community that even Parker would be disappointed in. I don’t want the community to end like this and becoming a pile of arguing and « who did what? » aswell as insults and hateful, hurtful words, so I suggest everybody stays calm and doesn’t act hatredly around other people, it’s the best for the community to stay alive. I also suggest we should ignore this whole Flash Studio incident. It’s better than insulting and encouraging bad stuff in the community. You don’t have to love someone to not insult them.

Do not post any other stuff about Flash Studio unless it’s just to tone down the bad stereotype and explain what I said, as I don’t want this whole community being about bullying and insulting a person. Even then, I suggest not posting at all about them to avoid a whole argument.

And hey, Flash Studio(or Tanuki Studio), if you’re reading this, if no one decides to comply into what I said, know that I’ve always got your back (it’s weird to say when we’re not friends or we don’t know each other irl lol, but it’s true). And whether your plans work or don’t as expected, there will always be atleast one person supporting you, me. Thanks a lot for your efforts, and i’m sorry for your fails. I hope one day you’ll finally be successful in the series you like.

A little side secret, I’ve been there too, I’ve received hatred for all of my life and i’m not kidding. (Irl hatred is very painful and it being repetitive led me to depression for the rest of my years, aswell as other stuff) but hey, let’s not talk about my life. To sum this, I’ll be here to support you whether other people like it or not and whether they agree on my post or not
