My cat has a bald spot where her left leg meets her body. I noticed it on Friday May 15, and it was rather pinkish. Since then it has gotten a little red.

She’s a female short hair tabby. Five years old and has only lived indoors, approximately 11 pounds. I have not noticed any behavioral changes or excessive grooming. She eats and drinks regularly, and goes through her regular routines. I use flea and tick prevention drops so I don’t think it’s those.

Could it just be a rash?
