A Jimmy LuSaque Jr. appreciation post
Ever since episode 1, this guy has been such a beam of light whenever he appears on screen.
Rarely have I seen a character who always does the "right thing" without an ounce of schmaltz or pathos. He's literally the heart and moral fiber of a show all about a town and an industry brimming with self-absorbed insecurities.
From what could have been a rather one dimensional, throwaway "manager" type side character-we got a well rounded, fully fleshed mature 'person' to somehow aspire to.
And then to see him end up where he did in this last episode? Head held up high as he gracefuly greets the people who ignore him while he delivers their mail? That's our boy. Our champ.
We don't deserve you Jimmy, and neither do your clients. But we're so lucky to have you!
Kudos to the writers and Paul W. Downs for creating such a wonderfully comforting and genuinely inspiring character.
