I’m wondering if string choices have a noticeable effect on taming all the extra frequency pickup associated with aggressive pickups. I have a set of Alnico 8 pickups that sound very good, but they’ve made the guitar so touch sensitive that the feeback can lead to the guitar sometimes sounding out of tune, which hadn’t happened with the lower output original pups.
