Why? They don't need a gifted ISS, let alone most of the ISS positions the agency is wasting money on. Bring the resources back to direct services to students.

Pros/cons of joining the union, particularly for stateside educators. There has not been success in renewing the contract and once again, negotiations found us without a signed MLA, meaning no raise again. What are the perks? I feel like parents are the biggest issue, so having a lawyer on retainer isn't necessary with excellent options like the ones offered through Proliability.com

Just trying to make a decision whether to continue spending $800/year for what we are getting.
