Hello wondering if anyone has any advice my son has a meta quest 2 we can't seem to by pass the pull tags out screen after a factory reset the right controller will pair but the left one isn't ?

I am debating to buy a new left controller if that's why its not working incase it still says to pull the tabs out even tho there not new controllers 🫣we have tried everything that Google / chat GBT has recommended. Any advice please? I have a very unhappy 12 year old!!! 😘
