Im looking at getting a 16ft but dont know if it will be too long and i might trip over it

I've never had any issues with the game in all the time I've owned it, but suddenly I'm several feet too tall. Only in this game and no other games on Quest or PCVR, I've tried changing my boundary settings and floor settings and still the same thing. I'm 3 feet too tall. How do I fix this???

I just got a 5gb usb-c to usb-c data cable and when plugging it up to my pc and meta quest it only reads as a charging cable. It’s the insignia 16ft vr data cable. Idk why my pc and quest 3 isn’t picking it up, I mean that same slot I have a headset dongle plugged into it and it works so I’m lost. Why isn’t it picking up the wire? I’ve plugged up my headset before with a usb 2.0 cable and it connected so I know it can but idk if a port is being weird.

Anyone else ever had this issue? Should I just go USB-A 3.0 to USB-C instead?

I’ve tried every method under the sun, including: Installing the latest update via the Software Upgrade Tool, installing different firmwares through 3rd party methods, changing the Boot Slot from A to B then B to A, leaving it to sit for a while upon booting, factory reset (which just crashes the OS a few seconds into the ‘Erasing’ process)

I’m wondering if there is ANY fix for this or it just becomes a paperweight?

I also can’t return the Quest 3 as I bought this one second hand.

hey there on quest 3 i use to be able to pin my fav apps , which is a life saver on the main front end q3 Ui. But after an update i cant pin anything now...

I am playing some non-steam PCVR games on my Q3 using a USB-C cable, and it does look pretty good, but my GPU is spinning all 3 fans and very noisy. It's a potato Radeon 5500XT with 8gb DDR6. Any advice to improve stability without sacrificing much quality? I am using Virtual Desktop, but not sure if it's the best solution. I disabled OVR service and it didn't help. What would be the most efficient solution for software on

i was playing blade and sorcery through steamvr and it kept crashing, a little bar kept showing up making me not able to play, crashing, buffering, the screen would stand as a solid rectangle not moving while i got killed in game. the seller claimed the vr to be "used once" but i think that is bs. please help me

I cant buy dlc's for games because my vr ask for the meta points and they are discontinued.

Yup, the topic have been going on forever, I'm just asking because my search got no results.

I'm currently using a glasses with measurements of -7.25 and -8.25. Let says the shop I want to buy it from have an option for -7.25 to -8.00 and -8.25 to -9.00. Obviously, I have to go with the second option. The thing here is the price difference is almost 25% more for the latter option.

Is it okay for me to just make my prescription lens as I've described before or I have buy the exact measurement of my glasses prescription? Does the difference noticeable if i buy the difference prescription lens? Thank you in advance.

I bought my kid a new Meta quest 3 about 6 weeks ago (FWIW, a gift because she was going to be in the hospital then confined home for weeks) and it came with a bad left controller. Support quickly agreed to send an expedited replacement but it never shipped.

I keep contacting them and they keep saying they would check/ get back to me/ etc. I suspect that I am just chatting with an AI or something.

Can anyone please help getting in touch with a real person?
