Bullstrap Sienna

Bullstrap Sienna

I received an offer for a Bullstrap case that I couldn’t pass up so I pulled the trigger. This thing is beautiful. I immediately felt the softness of the leather right out of the box. Some parts of it felt dry but I expected that since it was in the mail so long. I can’t wait for this case to patina, I’ve heard it’s the best one from Bullstrap.

Lumazi Winterberry day 1 > week 1

This has been my favorite leather case out of my collection of leather cases. I’m loving the color of the slight patina coming in and I’m excited for it to come in even more. It’s just so pretty and the red on blue looks so nice imo.

Lumazi Storm Grey leather case.

I’ve been loving this case so far. The leather feels so soft in my hand yet it’s gotten grippier over time. Slight patina already coming in after having the case for 6 days. I’ve used other cases, mainly my sheath, as well but I’ve been trying to get the patina on this one so it’s been my daily. If I’m going to the park I’ll switch out, if I know it’s going to rain, I’ll switch out. If I’m home, it’s in this case lol. Looking forward to the patina coming in more. People hate on these cases for their logo before but they removed the name from the back and just left the logo. Reminds me of bullstrap but I don’t like the plateau cover on the bullstrap, plus I paid half the price. They also have great customer service.

Lumazi

I made a post in here about 3 weeks ago asking if anyone had tried Lumazi leather cases and got no responses. So I placed an order anyways, because I was curious and they weren’t very expensive. The feel of the cases is awesome, great feeling leather, tight fit and the buttons on the storm grey are nice and clicky but the blue case has button issues, which I’m going to take up with customer service. Not very happy that the buttons on the blue have issues because I had to wait 3 weeks for these cases but overall I’m happy with the order because I just found a couple more great leather cases.

Edit: I sent an email to customer service right after making this post and they’ve already got the replacement case in processing. Tremendous customer service if anyone takes that into account when ordering phone cases.

Bare Aramid Fiber

Just got this bad boy in the mail today. Been trying out different cases recently and decided to try out the Aramid Fiber from Bare. So far it’s my favorite aramid fiber case. Smooth and sleek in hand yet grippier than expected. I love the feel of Bare cases and this one feels great as well. Haven’t really tried the magnets yet but so far they don’t seem as strong as some of my other cases. Not a huge deal since I don’t charge with MagSafe, I only have a couple of magnetic ring stands and those should work well if I decide to use them. Very lightweight case and it’s more protective than my other aramid cases yet still minimal. Happy with this purchase and it will be in normal rotation. Next case to make it in should be the Caudabe Sheath, which I’m looking forward to.

Caudabe Sheath

So I’ve seen a lot of recommendations for Caudabe the last couple of years. I’m not a huge fan of cases that cover the plateau, but I’ve still been curious. So curious that I ordered the Sheath and it should be here in a few days. Is the hype real? I’m looking forward to trying it out and will post my thoughts when it does come in.

Just received

Tekmomo leather case came in today! Decided to give this brand a try after coming across their site. Tremendous quality leather case for the price point. I absolutely love the feel of this case and the color is beautiful. Goes well with the deep blue pro!

I’ve been looking for nice, slim cases and stumbled across thinborne.com. I recently received my Wild Navy case. I ripped open the package as soon as I saw it in my mailbox. I love minimalist cases, so I was very much looking forward to this case. The box it came in was nice and sleek. Inside the box was the case, a screen protector, a camera protector, and alcohol wipes/stickers to install the screen protector. I already have a screen protector, so I’m keeping that for later in case of an emergency. I didn’t bother with the lens protector because I don’t believe in them lol. I took my previous case off and slapped this one on. The case feels premium, isn’t slippery in hand, and I just love the feel of aramid fiber cases. I also love being able to feel the actual phone. There really isn’t a lip, so swiping from any direction feels seamless/caseless. The magnets are decently strong. The case is surprisingly strong and durable for how thin it is. I almost wish there was a camera control button, but that would require making the case thicker, which would go against what Thinborne is trying to do. Just like any aramid/carbon fiber cases, you get fingerprints, but they easily wipe off with a microfiber cloth. I’ve been using my Torras Ostand ring with it because I like having the finger loop. Overall, I love this case.
