First time I'm doing the brakes and the bottom bolt - the one you "should" have to hold in place to unscrew the pad bolt - is stuck. Before I hit it with my purse, it is supposed to slide, right?

Yeah, I've replaced the gas cap. Finally broke down and bought an oem one. I don't have a smoke machine and not inclined to buy one since it'll probably never be used again. And I live in the sticks so generally get to do all repairs myself. Of those who've troubleshot this code, how many has it been down to the pump and how many to the purge valve, or something else?
