Stay alert! Scam avoided in Logan Sq/Bucktown border area today.

I was approached by a group of men asking for donations for a fake death of a sibling "shot on his walk to school." Showed me laminated papers. They do not accept cash and want you to sign in to Square. I refused to give them my phone, so they walked away - luckily without an issue. This is a common scam and if you give them your phone, they will quickly send themselves thousands of $.
