I currently have a 7am bus ticket from Larkin to Mersing and a 11am ferry ticket to Tioman for 27 June.

Initially thought it was okay but now I’m worried about weekend traffic + delays causing me to miss the ferry.

I found another option:
5:30am direct bus from Singapore (Newton) straight to Mersing Jetty

It’s more expensive but seems less stressful.
For those experienced with Tioman travel:

Is the Larkin plan too risky?

Or am I overthinking it?

Would you pay extra for the direct bus?
