Kara possible past friends/lovers from the planets conquered theory
During the time Kara served Brainiac conquering other planets (or mostly committing large acts of genocide) she occasionally gathered souvenirs from various places including Thanagar, Euphorix, and H'lven. Thing is it would seem unlikely for her to just wreck the place then pick up the nearest still intact trinket to add to her collection. So, I'm guessing that at times she must've spent some time among the natives (like when she visited Earth) who believed she was going around spreading good will instead of just destroying civilizations.
Now considering she left Earth with photos taken with her and Jimmy together from just one afternoon I get the feeling that there would've been a good possibility that a similar circumstance occurred on these other planets with her leaving with a gift given to her. Now sure some could've just been from a new friend or a native of the planet handing out souvenirs like candy but seeing how quickly popular Kara became on Earth I wouldn't be surprised she'd be rather popular on other planets as well. Hence, I suspect that Kara may likely had a past friend(s)/partner(s) from these other planets she visited. But since Brainiac can alter her memories, he could've made her forget they ever existed so she'd stay focused on the mission. She then would be sent out to another planet, and the cycle would repeat till she arrived on Earth.
But what does everyone else think on this theory? Has Kara likely had past friends or even romance but be made to forget they ever existed? Or were the trinkets merely just something acquired with little emotional attachment to besides "I went there before".
It would be interesting if one of her past partners survived and hunted down Kara for destroying their planet and naturally breaking their heart. Somehow, they come to understand that it was only because of Brainiac and manage to forgive Kara. Heck possibly act as a reignited love interest to her (and a rival to Jimmy) who may even have been married to each other Las Vegas style before Kara was forced by Brainiac to start annihilating everyone.
