Advice on a a replacement for an old Schlage G-Series interconnected lockset
Long story short I have old French doors with a very old lock. The lock has been in bad shape and is now broken. I live in an HOA neighborhood and when I went to replace the lock I was told the lock couldn’t be replaced as replacements are no longer made. The HOA is a huge pain to deal with and anything outside of the original matching lock isn’t easy to get approved. Currently I have searched all over and haven’t been able to find a matching door knob. Does anyone know anywhere to find old door knobs like this? The only other option I’ve been given is to replace the entire door and frame which was quoted at 5k…
