I have a Rev Up I just did a mild NA build on. Cams, springs, pistons, rods, and ported.

I used standard size Wiseco pistons, and Eagle H-beam rods.

Even with assembly lube, I don’t remember the wrist pins being particularly tight. Here and there I have seen a few different videos and posts of people suspecting an engine failure was due to a seized wrist pin. It does tend to be on older high horsepower V8s, not VQs but it has really had me thinking.

Comments always suggest that it’s due to the small end of the rod not being honed. Should I have honed them?
