Car Hifi Roadster

Helloooo,

ich wollt mein Car Hifi-System komplett neu machen und ersetzen. Für Inspiration und Tipps bin ich auf jeden Fall dankbar.

Wichtig: Es handelt sich hierbei um den Roadster, also am wichtigsten ist der Klang bei geschlossenem Dach.

Hab was Lautsprecher etc angeht, noch die Serienausstattung drin.

Das Notrad im Kofferraum kann gerne ersetzt werden ^^

LTH with engine swap

I'm about to swap my engine in from the top, and I have a set of PPE LTHs. I was just wondering if I can install the headers before dropping the engine in, or if I'll run into clearance issues. Has anyone done it this way? Thanks!

Happy 4th - 06 Touring 85k miles auto resprayed

One previous owner, bought and traded in at same dealership, guy got a 2025 Z. Looks like it was resprayed recently, not a perfect job but it’s nice. All stock no upgrade. Needs new struts/shocks whatever ha .. I’m a Jeep guy, I helped my son get into this car.

Are the, BC Racing Type BR 350Z / G35 True Coilovers, a good option for daily driver weekend cruiser?

First look at a KAAZ prototype LSD of a new clutch type, first unit in the US.

KAAZ sent over their prototype LSD product, which uses a completely new type of clutch face material to reach high lock with very little noise, and extended life compared to the metallic type.

any KAAZ LSD housing can be retrofit with the new clutch packs to convert existing units.

Emissions failed again

I failed my MOT a month ago and was asked to go for a long run.

So went out today for a spin and then headed to a different garage and the nice guy said he'll run test first.

And so he did and car failed emissions. He checked and advised that since the exhaust system is custom, they might have installed the Cats but there seems to be nothing inside.

He advised if I could get stock exhausts or ask someone to build cats for the system.

What do you think guys what should I do? I live in Huddersfield, UK, if someone local could help me out.

Testing ignition coils?

What's the best way to test ignition coils?

Can I use a multimeter? Do I leave it attached to the plug when I test it remove it? What reading should I get?

Can I fire it against the body and check spark?

2 sets of rear brakes

So i just purchased an 03 350z and they disabled the ebrake. They put one of those pull drift brakes. I want my e-brake back but wouldn't mind keeping the drift brake. Is there a way that I can connect both.

The rear wheel already has 2 sets of caliber and break pads. The ebrake lines are still there and react to the ebrake being pulled. Its probably a dumb question but I don't have much experience when it comes to that. Thanks in advance!!!

Any MT reinstallation tips?

Just finished reinstalling new clutch and flywheel. When trying to mate the transmission back to the engine, it seems to stick about 1.5 inches from fully joining.

Anyone have any tips on getting it to mate? Maybe I am just not using enough force? I obviously want to be careful not to damage anything.
