I’m a 15 year old (HS student) interested in dentistry and I currently live in Illinois. I was curious if I could go to local clinics and ask to volunteer (no PT contact) with set-up and break-down of rooms, sterilization, and other tasks which do not require prior skills either the doctor. Or even shadowing. If this is something that may be possible, how would I go about it? Should I call or go in person? Is this something that people my age can do? I really hope to get answers in the affirmative but I want it straight up.

Basically just how to obtain a volunteer opportunity and if it may be possible how should I go about it? There’s 2 smaller clinics near my house and school.
