I have a Swedish law degree and so does my husband. He is a junior judge and I have about a year of experience. My biggest dream is to relocate to the US permanently but it feels impossible. I’ve read that there are some LLM programs for foreign lawyers. However I’ve also read that it’s basically impossible to get a job in the US as a foreign lawyer, even after admitting to the bar. Is there anyone who has a foreign law degree and has relocated to the US with their spouse? Is there any way for the two of us to actually work in the US?
