I was originally torn between sapphire and a diamond, we went sapphire and I love it! We chose the stone and then he did the rest and proposed at our first date spot. Love it and him so much! There’s also a diamond from my Mimi inside the band!

My partner and I are still in the process of getting my actual ring. I’m very minimal with my jewelry and this is the second marriage for both of us so we liked the idea of a sapphire. (My first marriage I had a diamond solitaire) I picked out a lovely, sweet bezel setting and it was just about to be purchased when someone’s truck engine decided to take a dump! Life is expensive and unpredictable, y’all.
So, while he gets all that sorted my mom offered me a ring of hers to wear in the meantime. I grew up with her wearing this ring after a boyfriend got it for her in the early 90’s, but it wasn’t an engagement ring for her. I wasn’t sure if I would like it and I have a weird relationship with her that might give the ring some vibes.
Anyway, I friggin love it and it’s not my style but I feel like a princess with it on and what the heck right?
The only details I know are that it is 14k gold with natural diamonds and a natural sapphire. Apparently there is paperwork somewhere but who knows. I’m gonna guess the diamonds are about .5 carat each and the sapphire is over 1 but under 2.
Just got it back after a clean and a polish at the jewelers and here it is sparkling under the insane lighting at our local pizza place.
I was told my ring was gaudy and now I’m questioning everything. It was redesigned from an antique heirloom. Honest feedback please
I’m in love with not only my fiancé but also the stunning ring he designed and surprised me with on our 4th dating anniversary.
I shouldn’t have been as surprised as I was given the time we’ve been together, living together for 2 years and in our 30’s. But the intent and effort he put into the ring and the sweet simplicity of the moment (just the two of us on a park bench on a beautiful fall day) had me beaming. We like nice things but are generally not showy people.
I thought the design and size is definitely eye catching without being too much for my style.

We are absolutely obsessed!! Both stones are sapphires from Misfit Sapphires. We worked with a local jeweler to design rings that match our styles and personalities but look so cute together.
I had always wanted a sapphire ring with lots of diamonds in leave shape.. I am so excited!! However the jeweler told me the diamond are delicate and it is easy to lose them .

My fiancé and I designed the ring together but I never saw the final results or details, I left that up to him. Took me about 8 months to design the ring and I think the band itself is beautiful, but I’m feeling heavily insecure about the color differences in center vs. side stones. I know whatever it is, my partner will love it. I’m just wondering if I’m going insane or if y’all see the difference in color too.
I picked them all to be within the same color grade but the vendor mentioned that was the warmest they could order for the side stones as apparently they’re not sold in specific color grades when they’re that small, only color range.
What do you think? Too noticeable?
The center stone is a lab-grown purple sapphire that we sourced online ourselves for a great price 😊 We’re over the moon, and I keep staring down at my hand and bumping into things lol. I just had to find somewhere to brag 🥰

In love with my ring (and my fiancé of course). 0.90 carat round teal green Montana sapphire, small lab diamond side stones, half bezel setting, split shank, ring size 6.25. I love the side profile and how the stone changes color in different lights (my favorite is overcast outdoor light when it matches glacial lake color). We custom designed the ring together with a local jeweler in Bozeman (shoutout to Carsyn!), loosely based on a ring I had tried on there, and sourced our own sapphire from another jeweler.
Montana is our whole story. Together almost 10 years, my fiancé proposed on a pass at sunset in the backcountry of Glacier National Park on our 29th backpacking trip together (our 6th in Glacier). It was so special 😍

I posted on here yesterday and had some really useful comments, so tha k you all very much! I had a few people ask for me to show another idea so I am back here with two choices for you to help me with.
First, a little context. The centre stone is a bi-colour parti sapphire from Australia which is where my partner is from and we both live. I'm a geologist when England, so we went to see different stones and this colour type was one that she fell in love with. Secondly, she has seen both of these styles and loves both. I am simply having trouble choosing between the two. One is gorgeous and elegant, whilst the other is beautiful but more practical. Ideally we have both expressed the desire for this ring to hopefully be passed down for generations so there is that too!
