Secondhand find
Paid $100 for this and a jeweler confirmed that it’s a moissanite (~1.5 carat) in a platinum setting. My wedding set is an heirloom that is a lot more delicate and not the best suited to everyday life. This is a great everyday ring for me!

Edit: wondering why I’m getting downvoted? I’m totally new to this sub and maybe this book doesn’t fit the genre?
Found this book free in the Kindle store and decided to give it a go. Whoa, I can’t put it down. It’s a spooky southern gothic and the protagonist is an eccentric and strong woman who handles snakes and talks to ghosts. There are a lot of historical elements as well as some magical realism interspersed. Be warned, it’s a heavy read throughout and contains topics like domestic violence, SA, abuse in religious communities, combat PTSD, etc. However, I’m thoroughly enjoying it despite the darker elements and I wanted to pass it on!
Has anyone else read it?

How to go about selling a loose diamond?
Hello all! Hope this kind of post is allowed.
I have a loose 1.9k diamond that I inherited from my dad. i don’t want to set it in a piece of jewelry for myself or even give it to one of my kids. My dad was abusive; I want to wash my hands of this diamond completely. But how does one go about selling something like this? I had it appraised by a local jewelry for around $9,500 and I’m not expecting to get near that much for it. I just want to make sure I don’t get scammed. I’m wondering how I might find a jeweler or buyer who takes diamonds? The folks at my local jeweler told me “try googling it” when I asked if they had any advice on how I might go about trying to sell it. Not sure what to do and any advice would be appreciated! I am located in the greater Houston area if that’s helpful.

Buckley Fit Check
They feel loose, but my heel tends to slide back in them when I walk so I’m not sure if a size down is needed. Wondering if this style is just loose fitting or if they’re actually big on me. What do you all think? Thank you :)

I cut off my abusive father but he will still try to call or text me sometimes from other family members’ numbers. He made sure to tell me on my birthday that he’s decided he doesn’t love me anymore. I’m happily married with a baby and living a good life but that shit still hits hard, man.
