My baby has always had this random ring in the center of her eye that doesn’t hug her pupil. (key part of the question 😊)
Her eye has had this since about eight weeks old and she is now seven months. Does anyone out there have a similar set of eyes - no matter the color- so I can sort of understand what I may be looking at?
My girl constantly amazes me with her sweet little presence. She even puts up with really hard “muahhs ” from her two yr old brother just cuz she’s happy to be here. 😂 her eyes haven’t really changed a whole lot but perhaps over the next six months we will be seeing some action. 😃 her colorette halo does give a green tint in certain lighting which I love! We shall see. So far her eyes resemble her dads down to the microscopic details but I know things can change! 💜 this whole topic has been Incredibly fascinating. Let’s all keep the updating going!
Not much change over here but some better photos with sunlight to show off her golden colorette that comes n goes depending on environment. Still a chameleon. Still teething. Still a love bug. 💜
Golden collarette more visible in these pics. Her eyes normally present as grey/blue but they can also look turquoise or green. 🥰 lookin a bit like dad. 🤯
If a baby has a distinct collarette ring with lipochrome on it -but it does not touch the pupil -is it still CH? Five months. Her eyes have been the same since about 10 weeks, so I’m wondering if I can call this CH…. 😊 how strict are we about the color change starting at the pupil? Thanks in advance! The second photo at the top shows you the collarette best. 😃
They start getting brighter around four months from my observation. I’ll update at 5!

Has anyone had a baby with similar eyes? I have five kids and this is my first documentation journey. Her eyes are highly confusing/ frustrating as they reflect every single thing near her. For reference I’ve attached mine and dads eyes.

They were dark almost black at birth and they say they can’t go from dark to light but what’s happening here then? What color would you say these will head considering then we’re black at birth?
Dad has light aqua blue eyes and mom has hazel and my father has light blue.
