I have been considering PES mainly because of its placement opportunities ,location etc

...which seem quite strong. But I keep seeing many students talk about intense academic pressure, especially in first year. A lot of people say they struggle to cope with the workload and stress.

I am also not from Karnataka, so moving to a different state is a big factor for me.

I want honest opinions from current students or alumni. Is the stress level actually that bad, or is it exaggerated online? How difficult is it to maintain a decent CGPA and still have some balance in life?

If you had the choice again, would you still join PES, or would you choose something else?
