Thinking about joining
Hi, I’m a high school senior who committed to college and I’m thinking of joining a detachment. I wanted to know about how AFROTC affects college life and your life post grad. I’ve been trying to figure out if it’s worth it but looking through the websites can be pretty overwhelming and confusing so I wanted to hear from people who have done it before or are currently in it.
Can you still join fraternities?
Are you waking up early everyday?
Can it get overwhelming?
Can I still study abroad?
What are the job opportunities post grad?
What are the chances I get deployed?
Do they pay for your college even if you drop out in the first years?
I understand these are a lot of questions but I just want to be well informed and I’d really appreciate if anyone could help me and be respectful. Thank you guys.
