Finding a community

Hello everyone I made a recent post on here about how a buddy and I were moving from Atlanta, GA to Rome-Utica area. Well they backed out, so I'm wondering what's the best way to find a community and people to hang out with. Any help would be appreciated. Here's some things about me.

* 21 years-old
* Male
* Loves hiking, working out, and exploring new areas.

Again, any advice is will be appreciated.

Moving to Rome-Utica Area

Hi, basically what is says on the tin. My friend and I are 21 year-old guys moving to the Rome-Utica area from Atlanta, GA. I just want to know to some things about the area. Like what are some things to do, what is the social and dating scene like, and is there anything I should look out for?

What some nice apartments/rentals to stay out, I'll be making $100k up there so places fitting that income bracket would be nice. Thank you for your assistance.

Edit: The job is located in Rome, I prefer not to have a commute over 20mins especially in the winter months since I’m not use to snow.
