Green Mamba/SA Passport

Our iconic passport is the Green Mamba as you all know, and ever since 2008, we've been losing passport strength, losing Visa Free Access to Switzerland, UK, New Zealand, Colombia and most recently, Ireland because of Passport Fraud and certain people abusing it and overstaying using our Passport.

And with the recent plan to bring it to International Standard by having a Biometric Chip placed on the over or Polycarbonate Page of the Passport. I want to know what would be your recommendation to strengthen the credibility of our Green Mamba and regain access to these destinations again and tear down the Visa Barriers we have. (Maybe we get to 150+ Visa Free Destinations by 2035)

I was thinking we redesign the passport, we keep the iconic green, but shift the Coat of Arms to either the Top Left Corner like the Swiss or Bottom Left Corner like the Canadian One.

I was also thinking we drop the French Writing on the passport and have it only in English, since I see no reason why we should have French Writing on the Passport when other countries do not have it too.

On the Departure Side of things, we have the E-Gates which confirms the Validity of the Passport and the person also scans their ID Card prior to leaving the country so we can separate the Fake from the Real. Along with Scanning their Biometrics at the Gate on Departure at Check-in.

That way, it'll show that we can confirm that the passports are genuine too and the holders of the passports are genuine citizens rather than people who use SA Citizen Biometrics on their fake passports.

Then on the Home Affairs side, when someone makes a passport or ID , Home Affairs must send an SMS or an Email to the person who is making the document and they must input a OTP at the Office to prevent any fraudulent documents from being made in their name. Or they confirm the OTP over the Website.

And for the workers at Home Affairs, they should change the system so that every ID, Birth Certificate and Passport made is linked to a specific Home Affairs worker so that if there is a red flag, it can be traced back to that worker via an Identification Number or other means and the person is dealt with precisely since the system flags their activity.

Also, a ID, Passport or any other document cannot be made unless that ID of the worker is logged in, and a card is linked to that worker. That should reduce fraud levels at Home Affairs too.

And I also believe that Permanent Residents should get different cards as compared to Citizens and Naturalized Citizens should relinquish their old Citizenship before gaining SA Citizenship just like Japan and Germany. Dual Citizenship for SA Citizens from Birth with at least one Parent remains the same.

Future of African Football

The Low turnout for the Women's AFCON Final has disappointed me. I thought there'd be a higher number for what is the Final Game of the Premier Women's Competition in Africa. But it has also helped me recognize a pattern.

The Last 2 Men's AFCON Finals had Hosts involved. Morocco in 2025 and Côte d'Ivoire in 2023, 2021 cannot be properly judged because it had a limited crowd of 40,000 out of 60,000 and even the 2019 Final in Egypt between Senegal and Algeria did not pack out the Cairo Intl Stadium.

Should we be worried about this? That Major Continental Finals not involving hosts pack out the Stadium. Ghana in 2018 had a decent crowd for the Women's AFCON Final.

Not to mention the Failure of the Single Leg Champions League and Confederations Cup Finals in 2022. What does this say about Continental Competitions. If the fact that National Continental Competitions lose their appeal to the host nation after they have been eliminated.

The largest attended AFCON Game I remember was the 2013 AFCON Final between Nigeria and Burkina Faso at FNB Stadium as it had 83,000 people there.

What are your thoughts? Does CAF need to do more? Should CAF do more like with the Men's AFCON making the women's Tournament a Quadrennial Cycle Tournament. Pour More Money in the Junior Tournaments??

And regarding the Women's AFCON should it change from being a World Cup Qualifier and create a Separate Format for Women's World Cup Qualifying.

The Final

Hey all, I'm watching the build up on SuperSport and why does it look like it'll be a near empty stadium for the Final or is it too early to Judge? What's going on???

Whats the visual at the Moulay El Hassan Stadium?? If turn out for the Final is bad. That worries me because how do we expect Women's Football to grow if the Biggest Game in Women's Continental Football is ignored like this with the attendance at the Stadium.. Am I overreacting or should we worry?

AARTO System

Can I ask, why are people so against the AARTO System which gives Demerit Points for Poor Driving Behavior and may even suspend or completely one's License if too many penalties have been incurred.

This can overall increase better Driving Behavior and reduce the risk of accidents on our Roads. Why are many against it?

Mzansi's Standing

Everyone. Tell me something. How does it make you feel when you hear this about South Africa from Outsiders, especially African Foreigners? I know we are all South Africans of all colors and ethnicities here, so I want your honest opinions here.

- Lazy

- HIV Republic

- Rape Capital

- Afrophobic

- Xenophobic

- Murder Capital

- Slaves (Especially directed at Black People)

- Useless

- Uneducated

Because to me. This is direct provocation of Citizens of this Country by people who deem themselves to be "higher educated" and "hardworking".

I've seen this more evident on Twitter and TikTok especially if you watch Zibani's videos whenever he claps back to a stupid comment.

Why is it that when South Africans refuse to work certain jobs without the right conditions, they are called lazy, uneducated and entitled when they are asking for something which should be legally done by the book such as Minimum Hours of Work and a Wage at the Minimum Wage of R30.52

Why do we tolerate this? In other countries, let's take for example, South Korea, you could get yourself deported and be deemed an undesirable person for such comments.

And why is it, that everything that a Poor Black Person is Swept under the rug by many people, especially the Mainstream Media and Many Political Parties. And the Biggest Culprits of doing this, is the Black Middle Class.

Why is it when People say Put South Africans First everyone gets a big fuss over it and why is it immediately labeled with words that should pacify the poor person, which it hasn't done now because people are fed up and don't care what they are labeled as now.

Speed Limits in SA

Should SA relook it's Speed Limits for certain sections of the Freeways. As the maximum speed is 120km/h, and it can get as low as 80km/h or 60km/h in certain areas such as Mountain Passes.

In Germany, most of the Federal Autobahn, has no cap on the speed limit, which let's people drive at whatever speed they feel is best. With the fast lane (Left Lane) considered only for fast cars going 200km/h+

Why don't we look at it that way too. Having a raised speed limit such as 150 to 210km/h if we cannot have Autobahn Level Speed Limits apart from certain sections which are under going work.

Speed Limits in SA

Should SA look at raising the Speed Limits on our National Freeways like Germany. The current Speed Limit is 120km/h with some going as low as 80km/h or 60km/h in certain places like Mountain Passes.

Should we look at having Unlimited Speed Limits on certain sections of the Freeways. Such as the N1 from Joburg to Bloemfontein, Pretoria to Polokwane, N4 Pretoria to Mbombela, N1 Bloemfontein to Cape Town, N3 Durban to Pietermaritzburg, N2 Durban to Port Shepstone, East London to Port Elizabeth.

AFCON 2028, 2032

Morning all, as you've seen. Nations are putting their hands up to bid to Host the Continental Showpiece.

2028 - South Africa-Botswana (BOSA), Ethiopia, Morocco

2032 - Egypt, Mali-Burkina Faso-Niger, Senegal, more to be determined.

Now which bids do you think will win the right to host the AFCON. And which nations do you want to bid?

Expansion of the CAFCL & CAFCC

Now that Egypt has called for the expansion of the CAF Champions League and CAF Confederations Cup. What are your thoughts on the matter? Is Egypt justified in doing this? Do you think CAF will benefit from the expansion? How many teams would you expand it to? How would you format the competition? Do you think it'll bring CAF more money from TV Rights and Sponsorships?
