Got my new Limelight bottle today. I haven’t taken the wrapper off though- still trying to decide if I want to keep it or not. I don’t think I’ve found the right boot for it.
I’m looking for a new bottle to replace my defective Peach of Mind and I think I’ve narrowed it down to these 3.
I purchased a new bottle a few weeks ago and immediately noticed that the outer wall was flexible and made a clicking sound against the inner wall when squeezed.
Owala sent me a voucher and I ordered another one. Same issue.
They sent me ANOTHER voucher ($42) and suggested I order a different color. Problem is, Peach of Mind is the only colorway on the Owala site that I like. Every other color on my list of alternatives is only available through specific retailers (Target online, The Paper Store, DSG, and Amazon).
So, now I have two clicky bottles and a voucher that I don’t know what to do with.
(And I checked several bottles at Target and The Paper Store. None of them had this issue - even newer colors).

I’m a long-time Owala fan (got my first bottle in 2021). Recently I decided to get a new 24 oz bottle in Peach of Mind. Unfortunately, the bottle I received was not up to the standards I expected. The outer wall of the bottle feels unusually thin and flexible, causing it to flex inward and audibly click against the inner wall when lightly squeezed.
I filed a warranty claim and got a voucher that I used to get a new bottle. Same issue. I’m not sure what to do at this point. I kinda wish I just purchased a bottle in store so I can check it in person before purchasing it. And if it’s just an issue with this color, I’m not sure what to do. There are a few colorways out that I like, but this is the only 24 oz color on the Owala site that I like. The other ones I like are available locally
I had ChatGPT create some mockups of some boots on my new Owala. I’m just having a hard time finding something I really like. Sticking with the monochromatic theme isn’t working.
I have been looking for a solution for carrying my everyday carry items. For the most part, it consists of what I have in this photo- plus my phone. Occasionally, I might need to throw in a small drawstring pouch with my menstrual cup or a small tube of lotion, etc.
I have a water bottle bag from ArtisXan that does fit everything, but fitting the kindle and the Owala is a bit challenging. I also have a Vera Bradley Outlet Small Hipster that fits everything except the water bottle. I know there are plenty of bags that will fit everything, but I don't want to carry a big bag if I don't have my water bottle in it, and I DO like having a water bottle sling available.
I think what I would really like is a modular system of sorts- a small purse that fits the essentials with limited wiggle room and a separate water bottle pocket that I can detach and wear separately. Sometimes, like when I'm out and about, I want everything together. Other times, when I'm out on the playground at work (daycare) or just out on a walk, I might just want my water bottle and phone (hands-free). Still, if I'm at church or a social event, I might prefer to carry my water bottle separately. (I know there are bags with hidden water bottle pockets, but I'm more likely to want to carry the water bottle alone without the rest of my purse contents than I am to carry everything except the water bottle).
I noticed a possible defect in my new bottle, so I sent in a warranty claim. When I went to airdrop the video from my phone to my computer, I got an interesting warning….
