Hey all! I’m going to cross post to some gardening subreddits, but I wanted to come here first. What I’m pretty sure happened is that I got pollen on my bottle, and it stained like crazy.

This morning I put my bottle on the kitchen table, changed the water in some of my flower vases, and when I came back, my bottle had this very fine orange powder. I tried to brush it off, but that only seemed to make it worse.

When I tried to look up how to clean pollen off of silicone, I was getting variations of how to clean silicone, how to clean pollen from clothing, etc.
Nothing particularly helpful.

Does anyone have any cleaning tips? I was thinking of soaking it to see if that would do anything, but would love to hear if anyone has been in the same situation or has any ideas for cleaning. Thank you!!

i only have 1 bottle and i’m trying to keep it that way to avoid overconsumption, but owala has been coming out with super cute colorways that makes me kinda mad i haven’t lost mine yet 😭just wondering how many you guys have so maybe i can justify just another bottle? or some cute bottles you love so i know what to get when i lose this one lol

We bought two of the cow print Owala water bottles from Target and both have started making a weird noise. The first one started doing it immediately, so we thought maybe it was defective and ordered another one from a different Target. The second one was totally fine at first, but after about two weeks it started making the same noise too.

The weird part is it happens when closing or moving the handle. It almost sounds like a squeaking or creaking noise coming from the lid area.

Has anyone else had this happen with the cow print Owala specifically, or did we somehow just get unlucky twice?

Got my new Limelight bottle today. I haven’t taken the wrapper off though- still trying to decide if I want to keep it or not. I don’t think I’ve found the right boot for it.

i’ve had this one probably for almost a decade. i was gifted a new one and didn’t know the sip design was different too lol

Thought I’d never find a matching boot for “In Good Company”! 🙈

Has anyone else had issues with the brushed rose gold finish though? Mine came with a tiny black speck almost right in the middle, like a streak of black paint in the metallic finish. It’s completely smooth though, so I think it’s more of an uneven pigment distribution in the finish rather than actual damage. I only noticed it after removing the label, hence the sticker placement. 😅

There’s also the same small black streak on the bottom of the bottle as well.

I got my first-ever Owala recently from Amazon. It came out of the box looking like a mess (see pics). In spite of that, it's still the best bottle I have ever used. It keeps my water SO cold!

My question is this: do I need a replacement or are the wonky springs a common issue that won't affect quality? I just don't want to be without it long enough to send it back tbh.

cannot for the life of me figure out what it is, if it's been modified, etc. please chime in if you know!!!

hi! owala has been more accessible here in the philippines since theyre now available in retail stores and online shopping apps BUT no acknowledgement by owala’s main account? and i also saw the reviews from their shop, their freesips has a box (red flag? but its similar with the standard sway box so irdk) and also priced about $5-6 higher (understandable). they only have the regular colors as well. thoughts?

saw this logo while i was looking at the owala website! could bottle bags be their new product launching in 2 weeks? what do you think ?

I want to get a 24 oz to be able to fit it in my backpacks side pocket and i can’t decide between open air and beach house. I’m scared the open air is going to look too gray rather than blue! I also was considering candy coated too but i just can’t decide 🥲
